In response to to the cancellation of the National Portrait Gallery, Art Threat, a political art blog has announced a National Portrait Contest of Stephen Harper himself.
The winner recives a minimum of $1000, which I assume will be used to create more art.
If I had any artistic talent I would enter, but apperently, according to my cultural policy course group, I was “born to write policy.”
Alas.

Thanks for the plug, Lauren. And we do accept prose submissions, by the way. Perhaps you can come up with some saucy policy document that will bring home the big bucks!
