Welcome!
This blog is a record of my life and experiences as a student of Canadian culture, past and present. I am interested in conservation methods, built heritage, urban planning, community museums, archives and archaeology.
I am a graduate of Trent University with a B.A in Anthropology, emphasis in Archaeology and hold a post-graduate certificate in Arts Administration and Cultural Management. I’ve also completed coursework related to heritage conservation, urban planning, architecture, built heritage restoration, database management, archival methods and library science.
When I’m not neck deep in cultural heritage I can usually be found either at my computer listening to questionably decent music or aimlessly wandering the urban landscape. Some of my other interests include crockpot cookery, science fiction, the 1970’s and Gluten-Free baking.
